I frame items for a famous Artist who does oil paintings of famous people. I have a history with frames. First the frame is plastic and not wood. When you look at the frame close it looks like plastic. When a picture is hung one looks at the frame from a distance and it is not noticeable. If you custom frame a painting it can go for hundfreds of dollars. Oils have not glass or plastic coving it. There is no glass but plastic but any ace hardware could cut glass cheap. My only word of advice to yhe frame manufacturer is to have hinges that can be placed on the frame to the painting to secure the canvas secure a few hole starters so the frame will not crack and focus on oil painting that will go much better with this style frameI didn’t know what to expect when I ordered the frame. I didn’t know if the picture was going to look as good in this frame as the original but to my surprise it looks great. The frame is very light which is good. I absolutely love this frame. You can’t go wrong purchasing this frame. It is beautiful!All good! Item well packaged.Complimented the picture!! It is beautiful, well made, and lightweight (especially for the size). My only problem is that Craig only has frames this large in even sizes--I needed a 23" width and could only order a 24". While I had hopes that it would work with my picture, sadly, it does not. But despite this, I highly recommend the frame and Craig. They provided a great product despite the sizing issue.Looks just like the one in the picture, it's very lightweight though. Didn't like that. But it's ok. Served my purpose.Terrific frame. It is a lightweight material, but that makes it great for hanging. It’s very durable and so much better than I had hoped. There was a small flaw with color on part of the side. I contacted the seller to ask if it was possible for me to try to remove the imperfection, but they sent a replacement with even requesting one. What great customer service.
