I have purchased several different types and sizes of picture and poster frames from this company, and every one has been excellent in quality. Even the poster frames felt like they were put together well and will last a while, which is very unusual indeed.For this one, I was pleasantly surprised to discover how sturdy and overall weighty the frame was; this feels like it was made entirely from real wood and not composite material, but even if it is composite I think it will age well. This size does include a glass picture cover instead of plastic, which I'm sure contributes to the weightiness. The paint job was done well and looks very classy. The listed frame size fit my measured picture perfectly. It was very easy to hang. You are absolutely getting top bang for your buck here!If you need an inexpensive but still quality picture frame, do consider checking this brand first! I think you will be pleased with what you find.Frames came perfect. Well made. Image was true to actually frame in color and texture.So impressed with how well the frame comes packaged. Obviously the manufacturer is proud of their frame and wants it to arrive in excellent shape. Pleased!As other people have said, looks good. Cardboard backing is cheap. Also some manufacturing defects are annoying. Otherwise is nice.I almost gave this frame 4 stars because of the cheap cardboard and pin backing. The manufacturer gave great care to the quality of the frame and how it was constructed. They took great care to add a hanging option. They used photo grade plexiglass instead of glass, which I prefer for large frames, weight matters. They took zero care on the actual medium mounting with the included cardboard backing and pins. After cutting my Mattes and adding a foam board backing, I realized with the ample room for the mattes and foam board, they never intended the cardboard and pins to be the medium mounting option.In conclusion, I will definitely purchase more Craig frames in the future. Note to Craig: get rid of the cardboard and replace it with foam board. This would have saved me some time.Perfectly matched picture frame for my print. Took the frame and print to my local framing store and had the glass replaced with museum conservation glass to protect the visual integrity of the print. Also had a wire hanger installed on the frame rather than relying on the sawtooth hanger which was included with the frame. I suggest you do the same. The frame is solidly built and visually appealing.I like the weight. I love the industrial look. But I don’t like the shipping company. The shipping company didn’t handle the frames with care.My son photographed Justify's wins at all 3 of the 2018 Triple Crown races. I purchased these to frame the newspaper front page prints of each race. These frames are very solid and beefy. The black with gold trim looks great compared to the thin black frames typically used in similar applications. The included acrylic was very easy to work with. The result a wonderful framed piece that is not as nearly as heavy as it would be if glass had been used. I will be giving this set to my son to hang at his house. He will value these for many years to come.Pictures
