This is a reissued, remastered version of NO MERCY'S only album, 1987's "Widespread Bloodshed... Love Runs Red", for the first time on CD. It sounds way louder than the original, and it is a CLASSIC album that you MUST add to your collection if you are a true SUICIDAL MANIAC.The band consisted of Mike Muir on vocals, Mike Clark on guitars, Ric Clayton on bass, and Sal Troy on drums. After the original release of this LP, the band broke up and Mike Muir brought Mike Clark into Suicidal Tendencies, which re-recorded many of these songs for the album "Controlled By Hatred / Feel Like ****.... Deja-Vu". So most S.T. fans will already be familiar with four of these songs. Four other songs were re-recorded by S.T. for the "No Mercy Fool / The Suicidal Family" album, released just a few years ago.Anyhow, the point is, NO MERCY was an awesome band, and they brought that old school Suicidal thrash punk that you love so much (which is why you're reading this review). Buy the CD and support S.T.P.S. Guitarist Mike Clark has resurrected a new version of this band. They couldn't use the original name of "No Mercy" because it's been copyrighted by others, so the band's new name is "WAKING THE DEAD" (just like the song). They sound awesome live, and they will be releasing a new album soon! SUICIDAL!!!!
